Inscale Now Offering Kern Approved Medical Scales

Inscale are now offering Class III approved medical scales manufactured by German weighing scale manufacturer, Kern.

A long-time supplier of Kern products, Inscale have now decided to expand their line of Kern scales for the medical industry. The new product ranges fall in line with EEC medical devices directives and are Class III approved making them fit for use in hospitals, doctors surgeries, care homes and other environments that require patient weighing or professional medical diagnostics.

Kern’s MPE approved BMI scale accurately measures weight and height to calculate BMI (body mass index).

The MPE includes a built-in second display that allows both patient and the operator to view weight values. The HM models have an integral height rod fitted to the scale column for accurate height measurement. The scale also comes with durable non-slip rubber feet and level indicator for stability, as well as integrate wheels for easy transportation. The MPE is a high-quality product that is fully, Class III approved by the Medical Devices Directive for use in medical diagnostics, hospitals and doctors surgeries.

Kern’s elegantly shaped MBC baby scale is perfect for monitoring the weight of babies in neonatal wards, paediatricians and hospital wards. The scale is constructed from a durable ABS plastic crafted into a large, smooth cradle for added comfort and security. Non-slip rubber feet provide additional stability when weighing. The scale includes smart comparative weighing functions that can calculate weight gain before and after feeding, while the in-built hold function calculates stable weight based on an average imprint, allowing sufficient time to attend to the baby and then take the weight reading without distraction.
