What is the A&D EW-i Precision Balance?
A&D's EW-i Precision Balance is a compact, table top weighing machine with a wide selection of capacities, resolutions and triple ranges of weighing. It features a large LCD display (16mm height) with back light for easy visibility. The EW-i has nine built in weighing units plus counting (with Automatic Counting Accuracy Improvement (ACAI)) and percentage software along with standard comparator function with LO/GO/HI indication.
The stainless steel weighing pan allows for easy cleaning after use. The EK has a compact, durable design ideal for use on worktop or table top surfaces.
There is also a standard RS-232C data interface for the quick, easy transfer of data to a printer or PC.
How to use the A&D EW-i Precision Balance
Begin by setting up the balance in an area free from excessive heat, humidity, breezes and vibrations. Use the ‘On/Off’ key to start your balance, and the ‘Mode’ key to select your desired unit type. Users must also use this key to access the parts counting and percentage weighing functions, labeled as ‘PCS’ and ‘%’ respectively. There is also a ‘Print’ key that can be used to send data to a PC or printer.
