What is the Kern EWJ Compact Laboratory Balance?

The EWJ is Kern’s easy to use, compact, portable precision balance. It has multiple weighing functions, providing readings as low as 0.001g. Its portable size and automatic internal adjustment - time-controlled every 2 hours – means it can be used wherever it’s needed, providing reliable, high accuracy weight readings.

The Kern EWJ boasts multiple functions to make your weighing accurate and easier. The balance’s primary functions have their own key, making operation simple, even for first-time users. As well as this, the capacity display bar lights up to show how much of the weighing range is still available.

All models with 600g capacity include a draft shield, with three sliding doors for easy access to the items being weighed.

The RS-232 interface means weight data can instantly be transferred to a PC (using the optional RS-232 cable – see Accessories below) or sent to a printer (see optional printers in the Accessories section below).
