What is the Kern EG-N Trade Approved Precision Balance? 

Kern's EG-N Trade Approved Precision Balance has many features and is a trusted weighing instrument for laboratories and precision weighing applications. The EW-N models use a robust tuning fork measuring system and the unit has an internal adjustment, giving a high degree of accuracy and making these balances independent of their location. Other features include a stable temperature behaviour, short stabilisation time, shock proof construction and high corner load performance. 

How to use the Kern EG-N Trade Approved Precision Balance 

Begin by setting up your Kern EG-N Trade Approved Precision Balance in a suitable location, then use the ‘On/Off’ key to turn on. Allow 10 minutes for the balance to stabilise before weighing – a small mark in the top left of the display will appear when the balance is stable.  

Users can press the ‘F’ key to select the parts counting function (displayed as Pcs), using the ‘0/Tare’ key to zero off a container if required. The ‘F’ key can also be used to select the percentage weighing feature.
