Ease of use is also at the forefront of the design on the CXB, with a numerical keypad and three display design allowing for simple and fast programming and easy to read results. The featured display is backlit and has a digit height of 20mm.

The Kern CXB also features built in memory capable of memorising 10 reference weights, as well as counting results memory that can be used to add up all individual piece counts to show both total weight and total pieces. The pre-tare function can also be used for manual subtraction of a known container weight, which is useful for checking fill-level.

Target quantity or target weight can be programmed on the CXB, so that when the target value is reached, an audible signal will sound.

Battery operation, compact, flat construction and low weight makes for a very high mobility weighing scale that can easily be picked up and used in more than one location.
