What is the Adam ‘Gladiator’ Waterproof Scale?

The ‘Gladiator’ is one of Adam Equipment’s most durable industrial weighing scales. This IP68-certified, stainless steel scale is highly suited to demanding environments where they may be subject to water, moisture and dust, and may require regular washing down.

These floor scales also feature encapsulated loadcells in the base for added protection.

To make weighing tasks quicker and easier, there are easy to use hi/lo checkweighing functions. Plus, RS-232 connectivity means that weight data can be printed or exported directly to a PC. The Accessories section below has compatible printers, RS-232 to USB adaptor and Adam Equipment’s DU Data collection software, all of which can be used with this scale.

How to use the Adam ‘Gladiator’ Waterproof Scale

The ‘Gladiator’ is a very easy to use durable weighing scale.

To switch the scale on, press the green power button. When you see a line of zeroes on the display, you’re ready to start weighing.

Unwanted weight can be removed from the reading by placing the empty tray, box or bowl on the scale and press the ‘T’ (tare) button.

When checkweighing, to set a high limit press the ‘Chk/Print’ button for three seconds, until ‘Hi’ appears on the display. You can then set a high limit using the directional keys to change the digits on the display. Press ‘T’ to confirm. ‘Lo’ will then appear on the display, and you can set your low limit by repeating the process above.

The display will then illuminate red, yellow or green depending on whether the weight value is above, below or within your set weight parameters.
