What is the Kern HCD Crane Scale?

The HCD is a durable, easy to use crane scale from German weighing scale manufacturers Kern. It boasts a large, high contrast weight for easy viewing of readings, whatever the lighting conditions, as well as a rotating hook for easy access. Plus, the scale can be remotely controlled for even easier – and safer – suspended weighing processes.

Power from 4x 1.5V AA batteries means that the scale does not need to be connected to the mains, and there’s an LED battery level indicator, too. A hold function stabilises the weight reading, meaning you can take a record of an item’s weight even after it has been removed from the scale’s hook.
