What is the Adam PT Platform Scale & GK Indicator?

The PT is a tough, mild steel platform scale with capacities up to 3 tonnes and sizes from 1m x 1m to 1.5m x 1.5m. These platform scales are made by British scale manufacturer Adam Equipment, and this model is supplied with the multifunctional checkweighing indicator, the GK.

With a tough chequerplate surface, levelling feet and a solid, mild steel structure, Adam PT platform scales are capable of heavy duty weighing tasks, including weighing pallets, crates and large containers in busy industrial warehouse and factory environments. 

Unlike many other platform scales the PT series is designed and manufactured from thick 8mm channel tube and has full welded joins. Other, lesser quality platform scales are built to a price and therefore will not last as long in a rigorous warehouse environment. The PT range has proven to be a reliable study product and comes with a shielded and protected cable length and self-levelling feet.

What are the key features of the GK checkweighing indicator?

The most popular features of this indicator are its checkweighing capabilities – it means you can use your platform scale to weigh items out to specific quantities, and an audible alarm will sound if an item is not at the pre-set required weight.

The GK indicator also has an RS-232 output, which means it can be connected to printers and PCs. You can order compatible printers from the accessories section below, as well as USB cables and software for importing data direct from the scale to your PC.
