What is the A&D SE High Performance Waterproof Scale?
A&D's SE is a highly durable IP68-certified waterproof scale, with a durable stainless steel weighing pan, epoxy-coated, corrosion-resistant load cell and a huge 39mm high weight display on its indicator.
This professional industrial scale from A&D is designed to withstand regular use in harsh environments – similar to the A&D SW Series, but with a lower IP rating, and therefore a lower, more affordable price.

IP68 waterproof scales are capable of daily use in some of the harshest environments, where they are likely to get wet, dusty and dirty. Impressive waterproof protection means these scales can be washed down, allowing them to be kept clean in environments such as food factories and food processing plants.
The SE features a painted mild steel base-work, an epoxy treated load cell and a stainless steel platform for enhanced protection.
The weighing indicator features a huge 39mm-high LCD weight display, and an exceptional 4500 hours of use from 6 ‘D’ type batteries (not included) means the SE can be used for extended periods – at least 6-12 months depending on frequency of use – without the need to change batteries.
