What is the Adam Core CQT Portable Compact Balance?

The Core Portable Compact Balance series from Adam Equipment is the best choice for simple operation and economy. These balances offer a variety of features suitable for veterinary, laboratory, medical and educational institutions, but are most commonly purchased for schools.

The Core consists of a tough durable ABS housing and a grade 304 stainless steel weighing pan that is easy to clean and able to protect against accidental spills. Their unique design also means that they can be stacked and stored with ease.

An easy to read clear backlight LCD display make this scale easily accessible, whilst Adam Equipment's patented ShockProtect™ protection allows Core balances to withstand excessive overload without damaging the main weighing mechanism.

How to use the Adam Core CQT Compact Balance

The Core is a simple to use balance that can be operated by users of all experience levels. Press the On/Off button and the balance will automatically show Cqt-1.0 Cqt then count from 0 to 9 before being ready for weighing.

The ‘Tare’ key can be used to set the scale to zero, or to tare when using a container to weigh subjects. The ‘Units’ key can be used to cycle through available units.
