What is the Adam HCB Highland Approved Portable Precision Balance?
The Highland from British scale manufacturer Adam Equipment is an approved portable balance, that’s versatile, and durable and very easy to use. Trade approved scales are required for selling goods by weight, making the Highland range well-suited to use in home businesses for producing cosmetic products using the balance's percentage weighing function.
These balances can also be stacked, stored and transported with ease, which makes them particularly useful in schools and colleges for student field work and classroom experiments.
The HCB features Adam’s unique patented ShockProtect® as a safeguard against shock loading and accidental overload.
A built-in rechargeable battery makes the balance able to be used anywhere, whilst the standard RS232 and USB interfaces give plenty of communication options.
How to use the Adam HCB Highland Approved Portable Precision Balance
The Highland Precision Balance is very easy to use for all experience levels.
To use this precision balance, plug in or use the inbuilt rechargeable battery, leaving a recommended 8 hours of charging before using. Next, simply press the ‘on/off’ button once to turn on the device.
When weighing with a container, place the container onto the weighing pan and press the ‘tare’ button to set the weight to zero.
