What is the Kern PLJ Precision Balance?

The Kern PLJ range is a high resolution precision balance range which offers a high accuracy weighing experience with a selection of weighing capacities which are ideal for heavy tare containers or large samples. The PLJ features an ergonomically optimised keypad that is designed for both right handed and left handed users.

There is also an RS-232 output for connecting to a PC or printer. Automatic internal adjustment guarantees a high degree of accuracy, regardless of where the balance is used.

A draught shield is supplied with models measuring to 3 decimal places and a protective working cover is supplied with delivery, additional covers can be ordered at any time.

What are the features of the Kern PLJ Precision Balance?

The Kern PLJ Precision Balance range features a recipe weighing feature which can store up to 20 recipe ingredients and 99 recipes using internal memory. There is also a percentage weighing function that can make mixing ingredients faster and more efficient.

As well as this, there’s an intuitive checkweighing and parts counting function that can both be used to speed up repetitive weighing tasks.

The PLJ Precision Balance is a robust weighing scale that features a tough ABS plastic housing that both protects in harsh environments and enables the scale to easily be wiped down after use.

An automatic internal adjustment features guarantees a high degree of accuracy and makes the location of use irrelevant. This makes the PLJ ideal for applications which requite verification, such as ambulatory gold and jewellery weighing.

The PLJ Precision Balance is a versatile weighing instrument that can be used in a variety of environments where a tough, high resolution precision balance is required.

The recipe function allows the PLJ to be used for food production and testing, whilst specialist jewellery weighing units such as ct, gn, mo, oz and ozt enable it to be used for weighing precious metals and stones.
