What is the Adam Equinox Precision Balance?

The Equinox Precision Balance is an exceptionally accurate lab balance from British weighing scale and balance manufacturers Adam Equipment.

These precision balances deliver remarkable precision to labs that perform highly detailed testing. Twelve precision models offer capacities from 360g to 8200g and readabilities of 1mg and 0.01g. A colour touch screen display provides intuitive operation, with icon-driven menus and readily accessible applications and functions. The five-inch screen is generously sized, offering 800 X 480 pixel resolution for excellent clarity.

The Equinox has a built-in memory for storing products and settings, as well as a USB port for a memory card to save results. Cables, printers and more can be selected from the Accessories section below.

What are the benefits of using the Adam Equinox Precision Balance?

This is Adam Equipment’s top-of-the-range precision balance, and therefore comes with a huge array of features that make weighing processes quicker, easier and more accurate. Additionally, data connection options (as well as built in memory) via the RS-232/USB mean GLP-compliant date and time stamped data saving and recording.

Selectable digital filtering helps minimise disturbances – from vibrations, for example - during weighing and mean results are more reliable.

A multilingual display helps when multiple users may be using the balance, or when the Equinox is being used in non-English speaking countries. A security password can also be set to prevent unauthorised access, and a security slot helps prevent theft.

Weighing modes include accumulation, parts counting and checkweighing with audible alarm.
