What is the Adam HCB Highland Approved Soap Making Scale?

The HCB Highland is a trade approved scale, manufactured by British scale company Adam Equipment and ideal for soap making. It can weigh small amounts of material in 0.01g increments and features a percentage weighing option that allows users to pre-prepare and mix ingredients to ensure consistent results every time. A stainless steel weighing pan also makes it easy to wipe down your soap scales after use.

A small footprint makes the HCB easy to fit inside most drawers or cupboards, and multiple units can be easily stacked. This makes them ideal for home use as well as in a soap making classroom environment.

HCB soap scales also feature Adam’s unique patented ShockProtect® as a safeguard against shock loading and accidental overload. A built in rechargeable battery makes the HCB suitable for use anywhere, whilst the standard RS232 and USB interfaces provide plenty of communication options.

You will need to use trade approved scales for selling at a price that is based on weight – as determined by the ‘Weights and Measures Act’ passed in 1985.
