The Kern EMS School Balance features a compact, portable design and damage-resistant housing perfect for busy classroom environments. EMS balances are suitable for use in schools, colleges and universities for use in biology, chemistry and physics laboratories.

The Kern EMS School Balance is compact, durable weighing machine suitable for use in schools, colleges and universities for use in biology, chemistry and physics laboratories.

The EMS model design incorporates a large shock proof plastic weighing plate to protect it from those accidental knocks. The particularly flat design, ergonomic optimised keypad and large high contrast LCD display makes the scale easy to use for any aspiring student. The compact size of the EMS balance allows multiple balances to be stacked and stored away in science prep rooms or storage cupboards until required.

The scale can be operated on either battery power or mains adapter and the scale can be calibrated at any time with known weights. The scale also has a non-slip rubber feet, The balance has multiple weighing units and various basic functions like parts counting, recipe weighing and percentage weighing.
