A&D FZ-i Trade Approved Balance

What is the A&D FZ-i  Balance? 

The A&D FZ-i range is a trade approved jewellery balance that is the perfect choice if you are looking for a professional, high quality and accurate instrument for weighing jewellery, gemstones and precious metals. This balance comes complete with an Air Pump Controlled Internal Calibration Function meaning that the scales do not need to be verified for the point of use. 

The FZ-I features an RS-232C Interface enabling Bi-directional communication with a PC, printer or other peripheral device. Multiple weighing units programmable or standard weighing units of measurement can be selected, including g, oz, lb, L oz, ozt, ct, mom, dwt, GN, tl, tol, mes, and MLT. There is also a parts counting feature and a percentage weighing function.  

Users can also expect fast, 1 second stabilisation, and a Shock Absorber Function to protect the balance from overloading. 

How to use the A&D FZ-i Balance 

Begin by turning the FZ-I Jewellery Balance on using the ‘On/Off’ button, using the ‘Re-Zero’ button if the display does not show zero. One touch calibration can be achieved simply by pressing the ‘Cal’ key, allowing 30 minutes for the balance to warm up. The ‘Mode’ key can be used to change the weighing units, which includes parts counting and percentage weighing labelled as ‘PCS’ and ‘%’ respectively.
