What is the Kern CH Hanging Scale?

The CH Hanging Scale from Kern is a precise, portable hanging scale used to suspend items from a stainless steel weighing hook. Offering ten-fold higher precision than that of traditional mechanical spring balances, the Kern CH offers portability, speed and accurate results. A handy extractable tape measure at bottom of balance with a length of 100 cm is also included.

This hanging scale includes a peak hold function that enables users to view their weight readings after the weighing process. Maximum capacities range from 15kg to 50kg.

How to use the Kern CH Hanging Balance

Begin by turning the CH Hanging Scale on using the on/off/tare button. Once on, the unit key can be used to alternate between your desired units (N, lb or kg). The hold function can be set by pressing and holding in the hold key until you the scale displays 4 options:

• ‘H1’ freezes the weighing values for 5 seconds after the HOLD-key was operated.
• ‘H2’ freezes the weighing values from operating the HOLD-key until another key is pressed.
• ‘H3’ freezes the weighing values automatically for 5 seconds.
• ‘H4’ freezes the weighing values automatically until a key is pressed.
