What is the Kern FXN Professional Waterproof Bench Scale?

Suitable for the ever-increasing hygienic requirements in the food industry, the Kern FXN Professional Waterproof Bench Scale is a robust IP68 protected weighing instrument. IP68 is a very high class of protection against dust and water and makes this the perfect scale for a HACCP-compliant work place as cleaning down after use is quick and simple. The FXN Waterproof Bench Scale is very durable in its design, with a stainless steel housing and weighing plate that can deal with harsh industrial environments.

The FXN features a highly responsive weight display which can give accurate weight values within 2 seconds. Checkweighing tasks are made easy with visual and audible signal assists with portion division, dispensing or grading.

Battery operation, compact construction and lightweight design make this waterproof weighing scale ideal for use in several locations (production, kitchen, sales office etc.). You will find recessed grips on the underside of the scale for easy transportation.

How to use the Kern FXN Professional Waterproof Bench Scale

Begin by placing the FXN on a stable and even surface. Turn on the scale using the ‘On/0’ button and wait for the scale to show ‘0.0’ before weighing. If it does not, the ‘On/0’ key can be used to zero your scale.

For weighing items with a container, the ‘Tare’ key can be used to set your scale back to zero when the container is on the weighing pan. The tare function will remain on until it is turned off – to do this remove the load and press the ‘Tare’ key so that the zero display appears and the triangle above the net weight symbol vanishes.
